Chef de Partie (Chinese Cuisine) – Join Our Kitchen Team

We are looking for a skilled Chef de Partie specializing in Chinese Cuisine to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both traditional and modern Chinese cooking techniques. You will work in different kitchen stations such as the Wok, Dim Sum, Roast, and Cold Kitchen. As a Chef de Partie, you’ll be responsible for preparing top-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and supporting menu development alongside the head chefs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare high-quality Chinese dishes across various stations (Wok, Dim Sum, Roast, Cold Kitchen).
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
  • Collaborate with head chefs in menu development.
  • Assist with food preparation and cooking techniques specific to Chinese cuisine.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a Chinese restaurant or hotel.
  • Strong knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques, including Wok, Dim Sum, Roasting, and Cold Kitchen.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen.
  • Excellent knife skills and understanding of Chinese ingredients.
  • Basic understanding of food cost control and inventory management.
  • Team player with strong communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Culinary Arts certification or a related field.
  • Experience working in a high-volume or fine-dining Chinese restaurant.
  • Familiarity with regional Chinese cuisines like Cantonese or Sichuan.
