We are looking for a creative and dedicated Bakery Chef to join our team, focusing on pastries. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and experience in creating delicious, high-quality baked goods. As a Bakery Chef, you will be responsible for preparing, producing, and presenting a variety of bakery items, ensuring the highest standards of taste, quality, and consistency.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of items such as pastries, pizza, cookies, breads, tarts, mini pastries, croissants, Danish, and other baked goods for daily sales and special orders.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bakery Chef, Pastry Chef, or a similar role in a bakery or commercial kitchen
- Culinary or pastry arts certification is preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques and pastry preparation
- Creative and detail-oriented with the ability to design and present pastries beautifully
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
